The Delhi Dispatch

The Delhi Dispatch is the story of a blind date between a man and the magnificent as well as terrible beauty of India. The result of a collaboration between three artists (written by Robbie Gilmore, illustrated by Miki Lowe, and co-designed with Xiana Estévez), the book, which sits somewhere between non-fiction travel and the art book, has been specifically created to raise funds for the Asha charity, which works with the poorest residents of Delhi, who are now the most vulnerable in the current coronavirus crisis.

By making connections between the current challenges facing Indian society and the historical circumstances that underpin them, this book offers a fascinating introduction to modern Indian life. With anecdotes and entertaining illustrations illustrated with the colors of India and Ireland (where the author comes from). This is certainly an absorbing and charming book.

  • All profits from the purchase of your book (both from the authors and from Nomadart) will go to help the Asha Foundation from New Delhi.
