Fascinates us by

Nature is permeated in all his work. Her creations are not figurative (nor do they need to be) to transport you to the depths of the Scandinavian forests.

References

Mareike is a big fan of artists who know how to create subtle but impressive compositions and who combine colors in an attractive way. Also from artists who create works of art unrelated to their style. Her current favorite artists are Leigh Viner, Berit Mogensen Lopez and Nord Projects.

Technique

Many of her creations arise in an analog way, with brushes and paper. She continues working on them on the computer, although sometimes it doesn't take much to finish them. This is where the appropriate compositions or colors emerge.

A curiosity

Did you know that Mareike is living her dream? She assures us that if someone had told him after studying that he would one day work as a freelance artist, she would have thought they were crazy. It was not predictable then, but now she is living a dream that he did not even dare to dream then.
