Monochrome Shapes II is a work belonging to a Series of two pieces. A personal challenge of the artist in collage composition, using exclusively 5 abstract cutouts of painted papers of monochromatic tones. Alisa explores transparencies, organic textures and imperfections that merge harmoniously and create finished and cohesive compositions. They invite free interpretation based on personal meanings and emotions.

Alisa Galitsyna

Alisa Galitsyna is a self-taught Ukrainian artist living in Spain. Her inspiration comes from nature, everyday life, travel, fabrics and interior spaces. As a Mix-media artist, he uses a combination of different techniques and themes, creating abstract artworks, patterns and collages using a wide variety of textures and color combinations.
